Celebration of Life for Elray
Dear Players,
Elray made his transition peacefully at home by his wife's side, on the evening of Friday August 24th. Poker became his passion back in 2006. In 2009 Elray co-founded the Spades Unlimited poker league with me. He was diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) in April 2011. During the past 7 years, he continued to play poker at Montana's thanks to the friendship of Jay Ireland. A Celebration of Life will happen, but no date yet. It will most likely be in mid to late September. I will keep everyone posted on details to come. Elray was not only a great sport and competitor but also a great friend on and off the poker table. He was one of the most interesting people I have ever met and he will be missed dearly.
